Civic Community Garden

The Civic Community Garden launched in June 2025 beside the Whitby Civic Recreation Complex at 555 Rossland Road East. This resident-led initiative offers dedicated growing space for fresh, healthy food right in the heart of our community.

The garden feature rectangle-shaped beds that are planted, maintained, and harvested by community members. The goal is to improve access to nutritious food, support local food production, and help address food insecurity.

The space will also host educational programs and youth-focused planting events, making it a place to learn, grow, and connect.
